It is an immense pleasure to share that Team Dyaus under SAE collegiate club, Institute of Technology, Nirma University, has secured 9th international rank in the Model Satellite Competition at Teknofest 2024, at the Aksaray Hisar Shooting Range in Turkey, held from September 18-20, 2024.
TEKNOFEST is Türkiye’s biggest award-winning Technology Festival of Aerospace and Technology. This event saw participation from over 80 teams worldwide, making this accomplishment a true testament to our team’s dedication and engineering skills.
The competition challenged the teams to design and build a CanSat (can-sized satellite) that could perform various technical tasks under tough conditions. Over seven competitive rounds, Team Dyaus showcased remarkable perseverance and innovation, successfully advancing through each stage to achieve 9th place.
