The Mechanical Engineering Department, Institute of Technology, Nirma University, recently witnessed a truly historic evening of nostalgia, gratitude, and reconnection.
On January 3, 2026, the Nirma Institute of Technology Alumni Association (NITAA) hosted its AGM and Annual Get-together, marking a monumental 25-year milestone for our Class of 2000 B.Tech Mechanical batch.
The event was a vibrant celebration of our enduring alumni community, attended by over 1,225 members.
The energy was electric as old friends reconnected and alumni had the chance to interact with the mentors who shaped their careers. For many, the highlight of the evening was the opportunity to meet their former professors—a true testament to the lasting bond between our students and faculty.
To our alumni: Thank you for returning in such huge numbers and with such enthusiasm. You are the greatest ambassadors of Nirma University, and your success continues to be our biggest inspiration.
