Achievements in DDC-SAEISS -2024 by Team Arrow – SAE Nirma Collegiate Club
The “Team Arrow”, a part of SAE Nirma Collegiate Club, has won in the DDC-2024 competition organized by SAEISS held at SRM University, Chennai, during August 29-31, 2024.
In total, 84 teams from all-over India participated in the competition. The team has participated in two categories: (i) micro-class and (ii) regular class. In this competition, the teams were given various tasks, such as carrying a high payload, having innovation, and making aerodynamically efficient aircraft within limits of 1.5 kg and 4 kg in the Micro and Regular categories, respectively.
The team secured the following achievements in both categories:
In Micro Category:
- Overall 2nd rank with Cash Prize: Rs 45000/-
- Best Technical Presentation with Cash Prize: Rs 10000/-
In Regular Category:
- 2nd in Best Design Report
