Dr Antonello Astarita from the Department of Chemical, Materials, and Industrial Production Engineering, University of Naples Federico II, UNINA, Italy, visited the Mechanical Engineering Department, School of Engineering held on 11th October 2019. Dr Astarita delivered an expert lecture on the topic ?Advancements in Additive Manufacturing and Friction Stir Welding Processes? for the faculty and students. The session included a review of the state- of -the- art developments in the area of Additive Manufacturing and Welding processes including future research opportunities in the related domain.
