Thermax STORM – 2021 is an Online Case Challenge for II & III Year students; with an objective to provide a platform to the bright young minds to solve real-world engineering problems & to use their ideas and concepts to come up with unique perspectives and creative solutions. The third year students of Institute of Tehchnology represented Nirma University in ?STORM 2021- Mechanical, Chemical, Instumentation category. The case challenge involved boiler selection for thermal power plant and develop methods to optimize operating cost. Under leadership of Mechanical Engineering Student, Borda Dhruv, ?Team Nucleus? achieved National 1st runner up position in the competition.
