We are deeply saddened by the untimely demise of our alumnus, Megha Mehta and her parents in the recent Air India air accident. We have fond memories of her as a brilliant student (1999 – 2003) studying Mechanical Engineering at Nirma University. She was also an alumnus of IIM-A (2003 to 2005). She was a bright and compassionate individual whose contributions, both during her time at the Department and beyond, will always be remembered with pride and respect.
We pay our deepest respects to the beloved student and their devoted parents, whose lives were lost in the tragic air crash. May their souls find eternal peace, and may their memory live on as a testament to love, unity, and the beautiful lives they lived.

Our thoughts and prayers are with them in this moment of profound grief. May they find strength and solace in the cherished memories of her life.
