Industrial Exposure: B.Tech VI Semester’s Visit to Ice Make Refrigeration Ltd.

B.Tech VI Semester students recently enjoyed a firsthand industrial experience at Ice Make Refrigeration Ltd. in Dantali. This industrial visit aimed to bridge the gap between theoretical instruction and its application in refrigeration and thermal systems.

During the visit, the students gained valuable insights into the intricacies of modern manufacturing by observing various state-of-the-art refrigeration solutions. Key highlights of the tour included:

  • Cold Rooms and Cold Room PUF Panels: A detailed look at the design and assembly processes.
  • Heat Pump Food Dehydrators and Vacuum Freeze Dryers: Exploring innovative food preservation technologies.
  • Chillers and Industrial/Commercial Refrigeration Plants: A study of the operational dynamics of large-scale cooling systems.
  • Finned Tube Heat Exchangers: An examination of effective thermal energy transfer mechanisms.

This immersive experience not only enriched their academic knowledge but also provided a practical understanding of how contemporary refrigeration technologies are implemented in the industry. The visit marked a significant step in equipping our students with the skills and insights necessary to navigate and excel in future challenges within the field.
