A visit to Wanakbori Thermal Power Station (TPS) was organized on November 19, 2024, for 46 students from the B.Tech Mechanical Engineering program. Dr. Balkrushna Shah and Dr. Anand Bhatt accompanied the group. During the visit, students had the opportunity to interact with the plant’s personnel and gain insights into the operation of various equipment, including the boiler, steam turbine, cooling tower, control room, belt conveyor, and electrostatic precipitator (ESP). This experience provided valuable practical exposure to the workings of a thermal power plant.
