The Mechanical Engineering Students’ Association (MESA) organized MESA Day 2024 on April 19, 2024. MESA Day is organized every year to celebrate the establishment of the club. The event was inaugurated by Mr. Jaimin Desai, Deputy Director, SAC-ISRO, who also delivered a keynote address on “Design of Space Telescope”.
The day was also celebrated as a concluding ceremony of MESA’s event “Abhyuday 2024” in which more than 35 sessions were organized to prepare the students for placements and higher studies. On this occasion, Mr. Sunil Pandi, Head of Corporate Relations, Institute of Technology, addressed the students.
The celebration proceeded further with a motivational talk by IPS Safin Hasan, DCP Traffic (East) Ahmedabad. In his speech, he inspired the students to remain passionate, be disciplined, and work hard towards their goal. Further, on this day, the members of MESA Board 2023 and Cadre Captains 2023 were felicitated with a certificate. Also, Cadre captains 2024 were announced. The celebration ended with an energetic talent hunt competition, in which students performed dance, drama, singing, poetry recitation, etc.
