?PRAVEG?19 ? Annual Techno-management Fest was organized by the Mechanical Engineering Students? Association (MESA) under the aegis of Mechanical Engineering Department, School of Engineering, Institute of Technology, Nirma University on 18-19 September 2019. The grand event was inaugurated by Shri Acharya Devvrat, Hon. Governor of Gujarat and Commodore C Raghuram VSM, Commanding Officer, INS Valsura in the august presence of Dr Karsanbhai Patel, President Nirma University. The inauguration ceremony was also graced by Shri K K Patel, Vice President, Nirma University; Dr Anup Singh, Director General, Nirma University; Dr Alka Mahajan, Director Institute of Technology; Dr R N Patel, Additional Director School of Engineering and Dr Vikas Lakhera, Head Mechanical Engineering Department.
The Indian Navy and National Security Guards (NSG) set up an exhibition of their weapons and models to explain the technology and working of forces to the young engineers. Many students and citizens visited the exhibition and gained detailed understanding regarding the working of our defence forces for guarding the national security and sovereignty.
