Team Dyaus -SAE Collegiate Club won first rank in ASIA and seventh International Rank in the Model Satellite Competition-Teknofest 2025 held in Turkey
We are delighted to share that Team Dyaus, under the SAE Collegiate Club, Institute of Technology, Nirma University, has secured an outstanding 1st Rank in Asia and 7th International Rank in the Model Satellite Competition “Teknofest 2025“, held at the Aksaray, in Turkey, during September 09-14, 2025.
TEKNOFEST is Türkiye’s largest and most prestigious Aerospace and Technology ccompetition, organised by Turksat, attracting participation from more than 80 International teams.
The competition saw participation from prestigious Institutions such as Istanbul Technical University (İTÜ), Politeknik Elektronika Negeri Surabaya (Indonesia), University Sains Malaysia, Universitas Gadjah Mada (Indonesia), Erciyes University (Turkey), Gaziantep University (Turkey), Bursa Technical University (Turkey), Sakarya University (Turkey), PSIT Kanpur , University of Delhi.
This remarkable accomplishment is a testament to the team’s consistent hard work, innovation, and engineering excellence.
The competition challenged participants to design and develop a CanSat (can-sized satellite) capable of executing multiple technical missions under demanding environmental conditions. Across several rigorous rounds, Team Dyaus demonstrated exceptional teamwork, technical mastery, and perseverance, culminating in this impressive 7th-place in Global ranking.
